Jimmy Caterine is a seasoned career musician, accomplished recording engineer, and talented producer, as well as a songwriter and music publisher. With a wealth of album credits spanning both performance and production, Caterine has established himself as a prominent figure in the music industry. He has received two HARA (Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts) awards for Metal Album of the Year and is also a Grammy nominee, highlighting his exceptional contributions to music.

From a young age, Caterine was immersed in the vibrant music scene, experiencing live performances by iconic bands such as Paul Revere and the Raiders, The Coasters, and Jackie Wilson from the front row of his father’s nightclubs in Dallas, TX. By age six, he began envisioning a prolific musical career. Influenced by legendary rock and metal bands of the late 70s and early 80s, including Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, UFO featuring Michael Schenker, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest, as well as progressive rock icons like Pink Floyd, Kansas, and Tempest with Allan Holdsworth, Caterine developed a diverse musical style.

At just 19, Jimmy Caterine launched Sacred Rite's debut record, successfully securing distribution and independently selling nearly 4,000 copies worldwide before landing a record deal with Axe Killer Records in France in late 1984. Recently, he and Sacred Rite celebrated their legacy with a reunion performance at Keep It True XXII in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany, showcasing their enduring impact on the metal scene.

Currently based in Phoenix, AZ, Jimmy Caterine operates Musical Chemist Publishing (BMI) and Musical Chemist Studios, where he continues to work as a freelance guitarist, regularly performing and collaborating with various artists.

Caterine utilizes top-quality gear for his performances, including Marshall Amplification, Line 6 Helix, and Charveland Jackson 6 and 7-string guitars, ensuring a powerful sound that resonates with audiences.
