Imaginal Cells To Release New Single Black Snake

Progressive Rock band Imaginal Cells will release their next single Black Snake ahead of their debut album Purified. The monumental song is inspired by the 2016 Native American-organized pipeline protests at Standing Rock, ND. Imaginal Cells’ heavy metal roots show in a thunderous riff that builds in intensity to lead the listener into battle against the demonic black snake and its minions. The epic song moves through various movements into a psychedelic interlude, and concludes in a grand finale. Listeners might find Black Snake reminiscent of classic heavy metal with elements of the Art Rock and Prog genres. Fans of epic songs by the likes of Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, and Metallica are sure to love Black Snake. Imaginal Cell’s sociopolitical commentary evokes bands of a similar bent such as Megadeth and Rage Against The Machine. Black Snake will be released for digital download and streaming on all platforms on October 8, 2024.
