Imaginal Cells pay homage to Iron Maiden

In advance of the coming release of their debut album, Purified, Imaginal Cells have released the second in their cover series. To pay respect to their long time influence, Imaginal Cells have chosen to cover Prodigal Son from Iron Maiden's second album Killers.

"Those first five Maiden albums had a huge impact on each of us," said Imaginal Cells frontman Ethan Foxx. "We chose this one (Prodigal Son) because it's the only classic Maiden song that features acoustic guitar. It seemed right that it would suit our sound since there is acoustic guitar layered all throughout our stuff. The whole Purified record was written on acoustics."

Purified is available on all streaming platforms.
