
Steve Hambruch is a highly accomplished multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer, composer, arranger, and producer with a rich musical background. A natural-born musician, he began drumming at just four years old and was performing with professional club bands by the age of eight. His early influences include iconic rock and funk drummers of the 1970s, such as Ronnie Tutt (Elvis), Floyd Sneed (Three Dog Night), Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Phil Ehart (Kansas), and Fred White (Earth, Wind & Fire).

Steve launched his professional career by forming the award-winning band Rokyn. He then went on to become a sought-after drummer, playing in various touring Rock, Pop, and Jazz Fusion bands. His versatility and skill have made him a prominent figure in the music scene.
Having served as a staff engineer at Important Recording Studios in Fort Myers, FL, Steve now owns and operates The Temple of Rock Recording Studio in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is not only a respected mentor but also a teacher to thousands of recording enthusiasts, actively contributing to various online industry groups that he helps manage.

As a highly sought-after session drummer, Steve has contributed to numerous recording projects and is celebrated for his jazz fusion-infused progressive rock style. His drumming influences include legends such as Steve Smith, Jeff Porcaro, Neil Peart, Dave Weckl, Tommy Aldridge, Carlos Vega, and Akira Jimbo.
